Job Title : Electrical Technical Specialist / Technician II
Electrical Tech Specialist

34 per hour
Must be available to work any shift
Shift : 12 hour shift, 2 on 2 off, 3 on 3 off. 7am - 7pm or 7 pm -7am
Position Description
The Electrical Technical Specialist will provide technical troubleshooting skills to maintenance and operations to restore product flow, as well as provide technical leadership and training to craft employees. The person in this role is also expected to provide technical solutions to recurring design, process and application problems, and analyze equipment and process data to identify opportunities and develop solutions and system improvements. They will assist the maintenance department in short and long-term outage planning, and assist supervisors and crafts in following up on VPM issues and items from the daily management action register. This person would also be expected to develop, manage and implement small capital projects, major repairs and maintenance projects and provide process engineering support.
Responsibilities :
- Design of manufacturing processes and procedures
- Involvement with continuous improvement initiatives of manufacturing methods.
- Work hand in hand with craft employees
- Act as a resource for technical guidance to manufacturing personnel
- Assist in justification of new equipment
- Interface with other manufacturing departments to address and resolve technical issues
- Adhere to EH&S, quality, continuous improvement and other company policies
- Integrated role as direct support of the Maintenance Organization.
- Respond to trouble calls on a 24 / 7 basis
- Note : This position will require frequent shift and weekend line / maintenance support.
