Staff Accountant Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our organization. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax computations, and plans, as well as maintaining client contacts and providing exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review compiled and reviewed financial statements.
- Tax Planning and Compliance: Prepare and review tax computations and plans for 1040, 1120, 1120S, and 1065, and complete returns.
- Client Service: Maintain client contacts, assist clients with accounting questions, and provide exceptional client service.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with clients and staff.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA License: Licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- Accounting Software Experience: Experience with accounting and tax software.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000, depending on experience.
