Our client is an established Commercial General Contractor and is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Manager to join their team. The company specializes in ground-up commercial and institutional construction as well as large scale tenant improvements.
Responsibilities
Perform quantity takeoffs and prepare materials pricin
Prepare conceptual estimate
Contribute to value engineering studie
Collaborate with Project Managers, Architects and Engineer
Solicit bids from Subcontractors, evaluate proposals and communicate with the bidder
Qualifications
You have 8 years of Estimating experience with a minimum of 3 years focused specifically on commercial construction
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field
Proficiency with estimating software (Timberline or similar), take-off software (On-Screen Takeoff), BIM and MS Office suite
Knowledge and understanding of construction drawings
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
Excellent communication skills and an ability work well in a team based environment
