This is a Riley Children’s Health Developmental Therapist position within the Indiana First Steps program providing early intervention services to infants and toddlers ages birth-three and families in the home or community environment. Travel is required. Opportunities exist for set schedules ranging from 24-40 hours per week.

Developmental Therapy includes:
- The design of environments and activities that promote the infant’s or toddler’s development in a variety of areas, including cognitive processes, social interaction and behavior.
- Providing families and other caregivers with information, skills and support that is related to enhancing the child’s development.
- Working with the infant or toddler with a disability to enhance the child’s development.

Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience.
- 1 years of experience in IDEA Part C or Early Intervention preferred.
- Requires a bachelor's degree in early childhood or special education, with focus on early childhood. Related degrees may be considered if academic coursework completed in child development.
- Requires BLS certification through the AHA.
- Requires credentialling for certification as an early interventionist.
