What You Will Do:
- Operate, perform repair and preventive maintenance on the Pneumatic Tube system.
- Regular monitoring of the system for performance and failure recognition.
- Communicate issues/information and scheduled shutdowns with stake holders.
- Provide support and service to devices at multiple locations on the system.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
- Evaluate and recommend equipment improvements to improve availability, capability and yield.
- Identify and properly report through the work order system all potential and existing problems encountered.
- May track and distribute equipment throughout the hospitals.
High School Diploma or GED required.
- Requires a working knowledge of electricity and is able to diagnose and repair electrical problems.
- Requires ability to read and interpret information from blueprints, schematics and diagrams.
- Requires current knowledge of various federal, state, local, OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and Joint Commission codes and regulations.
- Requires a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
- Requires familiarity with troubleshooting techniques, inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Requires familiarity with basic hand and machine tools, soldering, designated preventive maintenance and other test equipment.
