We are currently hiring a skilled Superintendent / Lead Supervisor for multiple sites in the US. If you are a hardworking person who possesses the skills and ability to perform the job as outlined below, we would love to hear from you!Essential Functions of this position may include but are not limited to : The Superintendent position is responsible for managing daily project production and scheduled activities of each assigned employee to assure project completion in a safe, profitable, quality manner. Responsibilities will vary by project size and magnitude and will include certain activities such as accurate time sheets, employee disciplinary actions, employee evaluations as well as project deliverables.
- Directly supervise and coordinate the activity of craft workers.
- Enforce safety and environmental regulations.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, client / site-owner policies, and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Monitor processes, materials, and surroundings.
- Evaluate information to determine compliance with standards; enforce rules and regulations.
- Instruct employees to use equipment or perform technical procedures; monitor equipment operation to ensure proper functioning.
- Keep detailed records of employees' attendance and hours worked.
- Using Microsoft Excel to enter, manipulate, and format text and numerical data; insert, delete, and manipulate cells, rows, and columns; and create and save worksheets.
- Using Microsoft Outlook and company email account to correspond with clients and co-workers.
- Monitor all crafts daily to ensure the highest quality standard.
- Perform daily random audits on craftsmen to ensure compliance with RPG and RPG Client policy / procedures.
- Ensure PPE is readily available, submit purchase order as needed to replenish PPE as it gets used.
- Keep up to date safety metrics on employees along with attendance & hours worked.
- Mentor / coach / motivate as needed.Please note that the essential job functions listed above are not intended to be all-encompassing. - Ability to lead a crew of 3-130 people. Responsibilities vary by project size and magnitude.
- Computer skills required.Successful candidate must possess the willingness and ability to complete and pass all pre-employment and employment screening requirements which may include but are not limited to : Practical skills, COVID-19, other medical, psychological (if required by site), background and substance abuse screening(s).Physical Requirements
