What are the responsibilities and job description for the Busser/Hostess position at Riley's by the River?
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant or event venue
- Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus
- Assist with seating arrangements and ensure that guests are comfortable
- Take food and drink orders from guests and relay them to the kitchen staff
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
- Clear tables and clean up after guests have finished their meals
- Assist with setting up and breaking down event spaces for catering events
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or special requests
Experience:
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations is a plus
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and colleagues
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
