Job description - Afternoon/Night Dog Daycare Attendant
We are hiring full-time daycare attendant for 40 hour work week.
Riley's Ranch Pet Resort is locally and veterinarian-owned luxury pet resort in Bee Cave, TX! We support a positive work culture with an emphasis on comfort, fun and safety! Duties (including but not limited to):
- Clean and maintain facility including sanitizing suites, play areas, yards, equipment, self dog wash area, front of house, and splash pad
- Supervise and monitor the play behavior of dogs in group play for potty breaks
- Ensure the safety, health and well-being of all dogs and cats in our care
- Engage in one on one activities with the dogs and sometimes cats
- Administer medications to dogs or cats as directed
- Assist with feeding and watering dogs and needs
- Preparing meals for the dogs and cats
- Maintain accurate records of each dog's activities, assessments, behavior, and any incidents that occur
Requirements:
- Previous kennel experience preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills to interact with dog and cat owners and communicate effectively
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Knowledge of basic dog behaviors and diseases
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as needed
