Responsibilities:
- Perform grooming services on dogs and cats, including bathing, drying, brushing, and haircuts
- Familiarity with various grooming techniques including trimming and styling of various breeds
- Maintain a clean and safe grooming area, including proper sanitation and disinfection of tools and equipment
- Handle pets with care and compassion during grooming process
- Strong communication skills and calm demeaner when dealing with clients
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a pet groomer, grooming apprenticeship or grooming school
- Knowledge of different breeds and their grooming requirements
- Hands-on experience handling and grooming dogs, even better if experience with cats
- Ability to lift 60lbs, or team lift for larger dogs
- Basic understanding of pet behaviors to identify stress or anxiety to ensure their comfort and well being

Pay: $42,000.00 - $47,000.00 per year
