We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Account Manager to join our growing HVAC mechanical services team. This role will focus on building strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and providing integrated solutions in HVAC and building automation systems. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in sales and technical services, with a passion for driving growth in commercial facility maintenance and repair services.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Client Acquisition

Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the commercial HVAC and building automation markets.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including Chief Engineers, Property Managers, and Account Executives.

Research prospective projects through networking, phone outreach, internet research, and industry events.

Attend and participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry networking opportunities to drive brand awareness and lead generation.
Client Relationship Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and responsiveness.

Develop tailored presentations and proposals that address client-specific needs and align with business goals.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, pricing agreements, and correspondence.
Sales Strategy & Execution

Collaborate with internal teams including Business Development, Project Managers, and Engineering to improve service offerings and account strategies.

Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations using financial modeling and technical insights.

Develop and manage client proposals using standardized templates and pricing models.

Meet or exceed defined sales goals and margin targets through solution-based selling approaches.
Account Oversight & Reporting

Monitor account health through regular analysis, QA support, and profitability reports.

Maintain awareness of outstanding accounts receivable and support payment collection as needed.

Generate and analyze profit and loss (P&L) statements to track account performance and identify growth opportunities.
Qualifications:
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
Experience:

Minimum of 4 years of sales experience in HVAC commercial service and/or building automation.

Experience in Facilities Management or Operations & Maintenance environments is highly desirable.
Skills & Abilities:

Strong customer presentation and sales skills with a demonstrated ability to drive results.

Technical knowledge of HVAC and building automation systems.

Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.

Financial acumen and experience in proposal development and cost modeling.

Compensation & Benefits:

Base Salary: $130,000 – $150,000 annually (based on experience).
