Position Overview:
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Commercial Project Manager with 5 years of experience overseeing commercial construction projects from start to finish. This role requires strong organizational skills, a deep understanding of construction management processes, and the ability to lead project teams while maintaining timelines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all phases of commercial construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
Coordinate and communicate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
Review construction drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure full understanding of scope and deliverables.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
Issue and manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and meeting minutes.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety in collaboration with field superintendents.
Lead project meetings with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and accountability.
Utilize Procore (or similar project management software) for document control and reporting.
Track job costs, approve invoices, and ensure timely billing and closeout.
Qualifications:
5 years of project management experience in commercial construction.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and deadlines.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and scheduling.
Procore experience required.
Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
