We are seeking a skilled HVAC Sales & Estimator to manage the full sales cycle, from job walks and estimating to project management and client relations. This role involves preparing bids, securing new business, and ensuring seamless communication between clients and field operations to drive customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will stay engaged throughout the project lifecycle and contribute to the company's growth through strategic sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and assess market opportunities and competitive threats within assigned territories.
- Provide regular updates on sales progress, market trends, and competitor activity to the Sales Manager and team.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to expand and strengthen the client base.
- Manage and nurture client relationships to drive repeat business and long-term partnerships.
- Track sales performance and ensure targets and quotas are consistently met.
- Review project specifications and documentation to prepare accurate cost, time, and labor estimates.
- Prepare and submit competitive bids and proposals to secure new projects.
- Maintain organized records of all sales activities, contracts, and project details.
- Process and price contract extras using Excel and accounting software as needed.
- Support additional tasks and projects as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven sales experience required; HVAC service or HVAC sales experience preferred.
- 5 years of experience in sales, estimating, and project management.
- Strong knowledge of the HVAC/mechanical industry and sales market.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical plans.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills.
