Compensation: Competitive, based on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret project scope and customer requirements to develop accurate and comprehensive designs.
- Produce detailed shop drawings, as-built drawings, and specifications using CAD software.
- Collaborate with the senior draftsman, estimating team, and project managers to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Validate layouts and measurements by visiting site locations as necessary.
- Identify and resolve design or layout issues by consulting with team members and stakeholders.
- Analyze specifications, sketches, and technical data to create accurate designs and documentation.
- Compute precise mathematical formulas to develop technical specifications for mechanical systems.
- Incorporate revisions to designs to address deficiencies or improve production processes.
- Prepare and deliver closeout documents, ensuring final designs reflect site installations.
- Maintain organized project documentation and comply with company processes and policies.
Qualifications

Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years in the commercial HVAC industry and drafting experience (required).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft applications; experience with Revit and BIM is a plus.
