Job Details:
We are looking for a highly-skilled Construction Superintendent with 5 years of experience in Commercial Construction, specifically in areas such as Multi-Family, Affordable Housing, Mixed-Use, Apartment Complexes, Townhomes, Condominiums, etc. (50 units) projects. The Construction Superintendent will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all phases of construction projects, from start to finish, ensuring compliance with project specifications, blueprints, and contract documents.
- Ensure that all OSHA regulations and safety protocols are followed on-site.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and the public.
- Coordinate subcontractor schedules and manage day-to-day activities on the job site.
- Provide leadership and direction to ensure project milestones are met and the project is completed on schedule.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure work conforms to plans and safety regulations.
- Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
- Report regularly to project stakeholders on progress, budgets, and any adjustments to timelines or project scope.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of Commercial Construction experience, with expertise in Multi-Family, Affordable Housing, Mixed-Use, Apartment Complexes, Townhomes, Condominiums, etc. (50 units)
- Proven ability to effectively manage and oversee all aspects of construction projects.
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
- Demonstrated team-building and leadership skills.
- Proficient in reading and analyzing blueprints and contract documents.
- Familiarity with construction-related software is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster positive relationships with clients, the public, subcontractors, and suppliers.
