We are seeking a Superintendent to oversee all activities related to the successful completion of tenant improvement (TI) projects. This role involves leadership of field personnel and subcontractors, ensuring a safe work environment, and managing the coordination of materials, equipment, and labor. The Superintendent will be responsible for maintaining the project schedule and ensuring quality control across all phases of construction.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, direct, and control all TI project activities.
- Collaborate closely with the Architect, Owner, and Project Manager to coordinate project details and logistics.
- Supervise and monitor subcontractor work schedules and daily construction activities.
- Ensure projects stay on time and within budget.
- Enforce compliance with safety regulations and resolve conflicts with subcontractors.
- Provide quality control oversight throughout all phases of the TI project.
- Manage site inventory, materials, and subcontractor coordination.
- Prepare and maintain the project schedule, ensuring timely completion.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in Commercial Construction or Tenant Improvements.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Extensive knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and TI project management.
- Proficiency in reading drawings, blueprints, and construction documentation.
- Experience with estimating, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with project teams.
- Strong decision-making skills and experience in conflict resolution.
