Superintendent

Summary:

Our client, a reputable builder with a pipeline of awarded work within the Bakersfield, CA area. They specialize in a range of projects, including ground-up construction, DSA schools, modernization, and renovations in both the public and private sectors. They are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee daily operations and ensure project quality and safety. Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operation of assigned construction projects.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed and participate in safety training programs.
• Prepare and manage project schedules and timelines.
• Foster positive relationships with owners, architects, and contractors.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and submittals.
• Chair or attend contractor meetings to coordinate project progress.
• Ensure quality control standards are met and maintain project documentation.
• Order materials, coordinate supply allotments, and manage resources.
• Complete punch lists promptly and oversee start-up testing and project turnover.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience as a Superintendent.
• Experience with ground-up, DSA schools, modernization, and renovation projects in both public and private sectors.
• Commercial Project experience will be accepted as well
• Proficiency in scheduling, RFIs, change orders, and submittals.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and judgment skills.
