Position Overview: This is a hybrid position based out of Houston, TX. As a Compensation Analyst, you will support the design, analysis, administration, and reporting of compensation data. This role is ideal for early-career professionals with a background in data analysis and an interest in compensation practices within HR.
Responsibilities:
- Support the design, maintenance, and administration of global compensation programs, collaborating with regional HR teams.
- Participate in compensation review cycles, supporting merit increases, promotions, equity adjustments and incentive plans.
- Provide actionable compensation data and insights to inform job offers, promotions, and salary adjustments.
- Track and monitor incentive plan data for accuracy and consistency, verifying participant details and plan data; identify and resolve data discrepancies, and prepare final payout information for the annual process.
- Prepare and present summary reports on compensation analysis to HR leaders, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with HRIS and cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and support compensation program execution.
- Conduct compensation audits to ensure compliance with internal policies, pay transparency, pay equity, minimum wage, and federal/state regulations.
- Assist HR staff and business leaders in interpreting data to make informed, data-driven compensation decisions.
- Support the development and maintenance of compensation policies and procedures.
- Support employee education efforts on compensation policies, guidelines, and best practices.
- Track compensation trends, ensuring the company’s pay structure remains competitive.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to compensation, including strong focus on pay transparency, pay equity, minimum wage, and FLSA.
- Assist with additional compensation and benefits tasks as needed, such as analyzing tuition reimbursement and relocation benefits programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in compensation or data analysis.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) and Microsoft Office Suite; SQL experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with data protection regulations and compensation best practices.
- Power BI Data Analyst or Azure Data Engineer certification preferred.

The Salary Range for this position is $55,000.00- $65,000.00 and is dependent on education, experience, location and certifications/licensure.
