About the Position
We are hiring Personal Care Attendants/DSP's who are professional, energetic, and nurturing. You will provide hands-on support to individuals as they work on daily activities and long-term goals.
Job functions specifically performed by the Personal Care Assistant include the following:
- Maintain individual lockers that include a change of clothing, undergarments and a change of socks. Ensure that clothing in the lockers is appropriate for the current season.
- Follow the toileting schedule for each individual and tracking individual toileting outcomes in Thearp.
- Assist with changing individuals clothing when soiled.
- Assist with showering individuals.
- Wash individual's laundry.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the individual bathroom facilities.
- Inform supervisor when supplies are needed (i.e. towels, shampoo, diapers etc.)

Location & Schedule
Note: Your shift will not vary and you must be able to work the entire shift, every week
Location: Des Plaines, IL
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30AM – 4:00PM

Requirements
You must meet the following requirements:
Pass:
A fingerprint criminal background check
A child abuse and neglect check
A drug screen.
Provide:
An original document (no photocopies) showing high school completion or high school equivalency. Examples include: High school diploma, GED certificate, college transcript
Residency for the past 2 years
- Current & original documents that verify your identity & ability to legally work in the United States
- Two verifiable employment references within the last 3 years
- Proof of valid drivers license at the time of interview
