Rimports is currently seeking an individual for the role of a Dock Hand at either our Provo or Spanish Fork, Utah locations.
The Dock Hand will be responsible for verifying and keeping record of incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the duties to quality and productivity standards.
This role will report to the Warehouse Manager.
Essential Functions :
- Wrap pallets for shipping
- Label orders & ready them for shipment
- Assist in loading / unloading shipments as necessary
- Verify shipment paperwork is accurate & complete
- Perform all computer functions necessary to track various aspects of goods
- Supports the shipment of goods produced & the received goods & supplies to be used in / to aid in the production / storage of goods destined for sale to our customer base
- Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the Manger
- Must certify in-house to operate forklifts & walkie ridies competently
- Standing, bending, twisting, pushing & pulling repeatedly throughout a work shift
- Physically able to actively participate in a fast-paced shipping environment daily
- Lift up to 50 pounds, lifting 30 pounds regularly
- Keep work areas clean & uncluttered
- Report all safety concerns to Manager immediately
- Perform any other tasks as assigned by Manager

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and pass a pre-employment drug test.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work :
Full-time & non-exempt. Overtime is required yet is infrequent.
Pay : $18.00 / hr.
Benefits (if position is FT 30 hrs. / week) :
Work Environment :
This is a warehouse, and safety is the top priority. Other employee traffic and constant movement of product. Pallets weights and heights may vary. This position is performed inside.
Must be able to pass post-offer background check and drug test. Hiring status will be based on the results of background and drug testing.
