Rimrock Trails residential treatment program in Prineville, Oregon is looking for a gifted and experienced Youth Behavioral Health Counselor who is passionate about helping and empowering youth (ages 12-17) clients’ lives and providing them with a brighter future.
Our counselors provide co-occurring mental health and substance use therapy, case management and care coordination for a caseload of youth clients in our residential treatment program. They work with the client, family and the care team to implement developmentally appropriate evidence-based clinical interventions and trauma-informed therapy.

- Responsibilities:
- Delivers clinical interventions consistent with needs of clients, in a safe and ethical manner that promote and sustain mental health stability.
- Demonstrates competency in: Group Therapy, Individual Counseling, and Family Counseling.
- Optimizes the collaboration and coordination of the interdisciplinary team to enhance the environment of client care.
- Performs crisis intervention as needed.
- Demonstrates a commitment to developing strong working relationships with leadership, colleagues, and clients.
- Submits documentation in a timely manner aligned with the electronic medical record.

Requirements
Education Required:
- Master's degree in Counseling/Behavioral Health/Social Work
- 5 years’ experience.
- Competency providing co-occurring disorder therapy.
- Experience and competency in working with adolescents.
- Competency providing trauma therapy.
- Competency providing family therapy.
- Professional Licensure (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) OR the ability to obtain within two years.
- Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC I, II or III) OR the ability to obtain within one year.
Salary : $109,000 - $116,000
