Primary Job Role
Provides technical support to the Sales Department by conducting evaluations, completing reviews of project specifications. Creates equipment orders per the Sales Summary. Inputs and places orders for all required specified items.
Provides drawings for submittals/fabrications, coordinates buildup/fabrication work for all required projects. Coordinates start-up procedures with the Service Department.
Maintains and often exceeds sales estimated margins through value engineering methods and effective purchasing practices for outside materials.
Provide technical communication with all manufacturers and their representatives.
Contributes to the evaluation process of all new products and services through research, testing and feasibility analysis of these products/services.
Directly supervises employees on the administration team. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Maintains accurate records and files. Assures correct vendor pricing and specification sheets are current.
Performs other duties as assigned.
