Primary Job Role
Creates a culture where the safety of the team is clearly understood to be of the highest priority above all other goals. Actively participates in branch and companywide committees to champion a safe work environment. Creates, reviews and approves changes to policies, procedures, training programs, facilities and tooling. Ensures all managers, supervisors and people in assigned work area/work group conduct all assigned work in a safe manner, adhering to all applicable safety, environmental and contamination control policies, procedures, and regulations.
Develops long-term growth strategies for the sale of parts & services. Develops short-term business plan by ownership of annual budget. Ensures the division operates on a profitable basis. Maintains overall accountability for the financial performance of the Surface Mining Division and Weld Shop.
Creates a winning culture through teamwork by recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, and mentoring team members while developing people to ensure a robust succession plan.
Serve as Target Account Manager for specific dragline & other key customers. Develops positive relationships with the senior management level of the customer’s organization.
Strives to build an organization that is recognized by our customers for providing high quality dragline parts, dragline mechanical repairs & machining, dragline monitoring services, and structural welding & inspections for all types of equipment.
Develops and manages the relationship with key suppliers to ensure alignment of initiatives and sustainable long term financial performance.
Directly supervises the service, parts, sales, and equipment management services functions of the division. Carries out supervisory responsibilities following Ring Power’s policies and applicable law.
Performs other duties as assigned.
