You have analyzed customer journeys end to end and understand how to map a purchase journey. You have experience in performance-based marketing and know how to hone in on the right KPIs to optimize a campaign. You are attentive to detail, dive deep to quickly find the root cause of a problem, and synthesize insights into actionable business solutions.
In this role, you will represent the marketing team as you work closely with internal business intelligence teams to define metrics to measure, analyze large datasets, and create business reports. You will also work cross-functionally with stakeholders from product, sales, and engineering.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. - Own the design, development, and maintenance of marketing metrics, dashboards, and reports across our B2C and B2B businesses
- Define the data elements and data structure that our team should leverage to enable analytical and reporting capabilities
- Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources (incl. 1P data, marketing agency data, 3P advertising sites) and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format
- Prepare and deliver reports to the senior management team with customer insights, marketing performance analyses, and recommendations for improvements

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3 years relevant experience in marketing/business analysis
- 3 years experience working with a marketing team, incl. performance marketing
- 3 years' experience in SQL and Excel (including Pivot Tables, array functions, Power Pivots, etc.)
- Experience defining business questions and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
- 2 years of experience with Salesforce or marketing CRM (e.g., reporting on marketing funnel metrics)
- 2 years experience with performance marketing and/or media reporting
- 2 years of experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau)
- 2 years of experience with a modern programming language (e.g., Ruby, Python, etc.)
- Advanced SQL proficiency - experience writing complex SQL statements and ability to manipulate a massive amount of data, creating dashboards/on demand reports
- Advanced proficiency with Excel
