What are the responsibilities and job description for the RF Propagation Modeler position at Ring0 Technologies, Inc.?
Ring0 Technologies (“Ring Zero”) is hiring an RF Propagation Modeler to develop 2D and 3D RF propagation models using Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS), Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS), and custom software applications. The role will involve applying proven propagation algorithms and industry best practices to model RF energy behavior, including diffraction, refraction, and reflection, while also considering the impact of terrain and surface materials on frequency interactions within the physical environment.
Responsibilities
- Validating and documenting the accuracy of the models and their inputs, ensuring that this information is clear and accessible to non-subject matter experts (SMEs).
- Convert RF models into standardized geospatial formats within the Sponsor’s enclave to inform and guide engineering and operational decision-making.
- Ensure the veracity and validity of these models and their inputs is documented and understood by non-SMEs.
Qualifications:
Required:
- US Citizen with an active TS/SCI Poly
- Bachelor's degree or higher in RF engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
- 5 years' experience performing RF propagation modeling
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience performing RF propagation modeling to guide collection programs
- Experience working in multidisciplinary technical and engineering teams
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
