What are the responsibilities and job description for the Duty Aide position at Ringing Rocks Elementary?
Vacancies currently currently exist for part-time Duty Aides to cover lunch and recess periods at Ringing Rocks Elementary School. These are rewarding positions in a supportive team environment where your work makes a difference in the lives of young students.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Escort students from the cafeteria to the playground for recess; supervise students while on the playground, ensuring their safety.
- Distribute lunch tickets to proper students; escort students to the cafeteria and supervise students in the cafeteria during lunch period.
- Escort students from the cafeteria to their encore classes and from classes to the playground.
- Monitor students as assigned.
- Work closely with the Assistant Principal/Principal and teachers.
- Maintain communication with guidance counselors when appropriate.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Principal/Principal.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma necessary
- Experience working with children preferred
- Must have current Act 34, 151 & 114 Clearances
Pay: $14.93/hour
Hours: 11:30 AM - 2:30 PM (3 hours per day on student days only)
Location: Ringing Rocks Elementary School (Kindergarten through 2nd grade)
