Introduction to creating stories in a variety of media. Examines a range of contemporary and canonical story examples that can include video games, film, TV, comics, board games, and new media. Teaches effective story-making techniques and strategies. This course is closed to CRWR majors. It is available to CRWR minors or others to fulfill a writing requirement.
Education And Experience
Minimum Qualifications:
Required materials include cover letter, resume or CV, employment and education history, contact information of three references (names, titles, email, and telephone numbers), and, an unofficial transcript copy of the most relevant degree. Candidates may be asked to submit additional materials if needed.
Official transcripts will be required upon hire. Review of materials will begin immediately. Applications to this pool will be reviewed until the vacancy is filled.

Education And Experience
Minimum Qualifications:
- A master’s degree in the teaching discipline or a master’s degree with a concentration in the teaching discipline (a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline)
- A repertoire of engaging teaching techniques that reaches out to a variety of learning styles
- Familiarity with digital technologies in teaching.
- PhD or other terminal degree in a relevant subject area.
- College level teaching experience
- Strong interest or background in an art and design school environment.
