Job Description
An exploration of the alternate pathways available to artists beyond traditional studio practice, specifically focused on teaching, academic roles, and creative careers in education. Through interactive discussions, hands-on projects, and guest lectures from working artists and educators, students will gain insight into the realities of teaching at different levels, the flexibility of blending education with personal creative work, and the unexpected opportunities that exist in academic and arts-related fields.
Education And Experience
Minimum Qualifications:
Required materials include cover letter, resume or CV, employment and education history, contact information of three references (names, titles, email, and telephone numbers), and, an unofficial transcript copy of the most relevant degree. Candidates may be asked to submit additional materials if needed.
Official transcripts will be required upon hire. Review of materials will begin immediately. Applications to this pool will be reviewed until the vacancy is filled.

Education And Experience
Minimum Qualifications:
- A master’s degree in the teaching discipline or a master’s degree with a concentration in the teaching discipline (a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline)
- A repertoire of engaging teaching techniques that reaches out to a variety of learning styles
- Familiarity with digital technologies in teaching.
- PhD or other terminal degree in a relevant subject area.
- College level teaching experience
- Strong interest or background in an art and design school environment.
