We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Equipment Specialist to join our team at Ringneck Energy. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of complex mechanical equipment used in our chemical processing facility.
About the Position
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and effective communication with colleagues and external partners. You will work closely with our production and shipping/receiving teams to ensure seamless maintenance and repair activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment, including pumps, valves, compressors, and process piping systems.
- Collaborate with production and shipping/receiving departments to coordinate maintenance and repair activities.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and participate in safety training programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or technical degree/certification preferred.
- 1-3 years' experience in maintenance or repair of mechanical equipment; welding knowledge and experience on carbon/stainless steel preferred.
- Forklift certification or capability to achieve certification.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to interact professionally with internal and external customers.
