What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plant Operator and Maintenance Coordinator position at Ringneck Energy?
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the plant's Distributed Control System (DCS) to monitor and control production and quality.
- Maintain accurate records of key production variables, including water samples for the boiler, RO and cooling tower.
- Participate in projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs.
- Communicate directly with QA/QC laboratory to ensure effective participation in the implementation of QA policies and procedures.
- Sample and test process streams, including water samples for the boiler, RO and cooling tower as required by the QA/QC program and procedures.
In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be required to participate in safety training, review the operation of the plant to monitor production and quality, and communicate directly with the maintenance department to coordinate maintenance and repair work in process areas.
