We are looking for an Assistant Controller to work for our Northeast Ohio client. The ideal candidate will align with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively serve as a strategic business partner and advisor from a financial perspective to the organization, including the executive team
- Assess and evaluate the financial performance of the organization related to long-term organizational goals, budgets and forecasts
- Responsible for the construction of semi-annual budget and revision processes
- Review, design, and implement accounting procedures and internal controls by analyzing current procedures and controls; recommending changes
- Train, develop, hire, and retain accounting team
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5 years of accounting experience
- Ability to develop and lead a high-performing work team
- Ability to think strategically and translate strategies to operational activities
- Highly organized & detail-oriented
Salary : $110,000 - $130,000
