What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Controller position at Ringside Talent?
We are looking for a Corporate Controller to work for our Columbus client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of accounting; financial statements, general ledger, cost accounting, payroll, accounts payable, budgeting, tax compliance, cost accounting, revenue recognition, and various special analyses
- Review the month-end balance sheet, make recommend any period end adjustments to CFO, and enter the journal entry
- Oversee the accounting department and ensure appropriate internal controls and financial procedures
- Produce the annual budget and forecasts; reports significant budget differences to management
- Recommend and develop benchmarks that will be used to measure the company's performance
- Files monthly, quarterly, and annual reports with the appropriate agencies
- Performs ad hoc projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
- 10 years of accounting experience
- CPA required, public accounting experience preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Salary : $130,000 - $150,000
