Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the external financial reporting process, working in coordination with the Controller and senior leadership
- Monitoring and resolution of technical accounting and reporting issues as they arise pertaining to financial reporting
- Define and develop short-term and long-range strategies for financial reporting
- Conduct meaningful proactive analysis to improve financial decisions
- Oversee the preparation of financial reports and present variance analyses recommendations to management
- Establish and maintain systems and controls to ensure the integrity of all systems, processes, and data
- Report on key operating metrics timely and accurately
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the accounting department
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
- 7 years financial reporting experience
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter with the ability to prioritize workload
Salary : $220,000 - $240,000
