We are looking for an IT Test Analyst, Point of Sale (POS) to work for our leading retailer client. This role focuses on testing and quality assurance for POS systems, management systems, and eCommerce platforms to ensure seamless transactions and system functionality.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans for POS, management systems, and eCommerce platforms.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, collaborating with developers and business analysts for resolution.
- Validate end-to-end transactions across POS, inventory, and online order systems.
- Work closely with IT and business teams to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Utilize test automation tools to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Support system upgrades, patches, and deployments by performing rigorous testing.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for system security and data integrity.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in software testing, preferably within POS, eCommerce, or retail management systems.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools like Selenium, TestRail, or similar.
- Strong understanding of integration testing between POS, ERP, and eCommerce platforms.
- Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
