Lead Business Intelligence Analyst – Drive Data-Driven Decisions

We are seeking a skilled Lead Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to oversee and drive data analysis and reporting strategies for our client. In this leadership role, you will guide a team of BI analysts, transform complex data into actionable insights, and collaborate with stakeholders to support business decisions through the power of data.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of BI analysts in designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that provide actionable insights for the organization.
• Oversee the development and implementation of BI tools and dashboards that support strategic decision-making across various business functions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, translating them into data-driven reports and visualizations.
• Lead data analysis projects, providing expert-level recommendations on how to leverage data for business improvement.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used in reporting and analytics, implementing best practices for data governance.
• Create and manage key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and reports to track business performance and identify opportunities for growth.
• Design and optimize data models and queries to ensure efficient and effective data retrieval and analysis.
• Mentor and train junior BI analysts, providing guidance on best practices and tools for data analysis.
• Stay current with the latest BI trends, tools, and technologies to ensure the company is using cutting-edge solutions.
• Drive the automation of data pipelines and reporting processes to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related role, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior position.
• Proficiency with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and database management systems (SQL, data warehousing).
• Experience with data visualization techniques and dashboard creation.
• Ability to analyze large datasets and derive meaningful insights that drive business decisions.
• Knowledge of business operations and ability to align BI strategies with business goals.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong leadership and team management experience, with the ability to guide and mentor junior team members.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with advanced analytics or machine learning techniques is a plus.
