Rinker Design Associaites, LLC (RDA) has an excellent opportunity for motivated civil engineering students. This internship program will introduce young professionals to various utility design and coordination projects for VDOT and local municipalities. Utility Engineering Interns will gain valuable experience with water/wastewater and dry utility design and utility coordination with local utility providers. Typical projects range from large design/build transportation projects to traditional projects for local government, state, and private sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Performs basic computations, analysis, and design tasks.
- Assists in the preparation of permits, applications, drawings, and computer-aided design work.
- Maintains high standards of work product and receives direction from peers.
- Enrolled in a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering program or related field.
- Must demonstrate teamwork and possess written and oral communication skills.
