About the Role:
- Provide comprehensive technical support to plant operations, ensuring smooth functioning of all equipment and processes related to concrete pipe and precast production.
- Identify and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Collaborate with maintenance teams to implement effective solutions.
- Continuously evaluate plant processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement. Implement measures to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety standards.
- Develop training programs for plant staff to enhance technical skills and knowledge. Conduct regular training sessions to ensure adherence to best practices and operational excellence.
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to uphold product quality standards. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address any deviations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Uphold and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in technical support roles within the concrete pipe and precast plant industry.
- Strong understanding of concrete production processes, equipment, and technologies.
- PLC troubleshooting skills preferred.
- Working knowledge of large machine operation, construction of infrastructure.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
- Excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Must have a valid drivers' license and ability to travel 50 percent of the time
