Job Summary:
Rio Hondo Independent School District is seeking a highly qualified Elementary School Principal to provide leadership and supervision in administering the educational program of Rio Hondo Elementary.

Responsibilities:
- Develops and administers school programs consistent with school district goals and objectives.
- Provides leadership and direction to staff with regard to the ongoing evaluation and improvement of educational programs.
- Promotes a school environment that is safe and conducive to individualized instruction, cooperative curriculum development, and student learning.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in educational administration from an accredited college or university
- Texas principal or other appropriate Texas certificate
- Certified Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS) appraise T-PESS Certified
- Five or more years experience as a classroom teacher preferred. Three years experience in instructional leadership roles.
Working Conditions:
