What You’ll Do
The Guest Room Attendant (GRA) cleans rooms in their assigned area with the intention of removing all evidence of previous guests. The GRA ensures all amenities are present and displayed in the appropriate manner. All duties are to be performed in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures.

ROLE EXPECTATIONS
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited, To The Following
- Ensure the security of guest rooms and their contents.
- Clean assigned number of guest rooms according to company and departmental standards
- Changing bed linens
- Collecting used bath linens and replenishing with fresh linens
- Dusting hard surfaces
- Vacuuming carpeted areas
- Cleaning bathroom sink, counters, tub and/or shower, toilet, etc.
- Replenish room amenities such as tissues, soaps, etc.
- Stock supply cart with supplies necessary for cleaning guest rooms.
- Update room status and complete requisite departmental paperwork.
- Notify the housekeeping office of any repairs needed in guest rooms.
- Handle guest requests quickly and efficiently.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
- At least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Work requires effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner.
- Must present a neat and professional appearance.
- Work requires flexibility to work various shifts.
- Work may require use of a small step stool to reach high areas of assigned.
- Must be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended periods of time.
- Work requires the ability to work from a kneeling position for extended periods of time.
- Work requires advanced attention to detail and must have visual capabilities needed to inspect their own work upon completion to avoid leaving deficient work.
- Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
- Must be able to work under time constraints and within established deadlines.
- Must regularly lift and/move up 50 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
- Able to push, pull, carry, or lift up to 200lbs repetitively throughout the work day.
- The physical ability to stand and/or walk continuously for duration of shift.
- The physical ability to climb stairs, balance, bend/stoop, and kneel continuously.
- The physical ability to frequently crouch, push/pull, squat, and work above the shoulders with both arms.
- The physical ability to use both hands for continuous grasping.
- The physical ability to push, pull, and lift various furniture items such as mattresses, end tables, chairs, ottomans, lamps, and tables.
- Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment and exposed to various environmental factors such as but not limited to noise, dust, and smoke.
- The pay range for this position is $26.27/hourly.
Salary : $26
