- Deliver food orders to customers quickly and accurately.
- Uphold sanitation and food safety principles.
- Bus tables and chairs by removing dirty dishes and trash.
- Check in with customers to ensure their experience is satisfactory.
- Relay reports of customer satisfaction to the management and relevant parties
- Ensure patrons have all the appropriate tableware they need to properly enjoy their food.
- Assist in setting up tables before service with appropriate utensils, napkins, and decorations.
- Handle various impromptu requests from customers.
- Continuously seek service opportunities.
- Respond to and resolve guest complaints.
- Answer guest questions and possess knowledge about property events and attractions.
- Work closely with bar staff, servers and kitchen staff to coordinate the delivery of food and beverage orders to the appropriate location.
- Provide friendly and professional service to guests, assisting with any additional requests or inquiries they may have.
- Maintain a clean and well-stocked workstation.
- Provide personalized service and use guests' names.
- Resolve service problems according to guidelines.
- Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
- Fulfill any other related duties as assigned.
- This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
- At least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One-year previous high-volume food and beverage experience
- Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Must be able to initiate and engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner.
- Must present a professional and pleasant appearance that guests will find appealing and approachable in order to engage in conversation.
- Must be able to work any day of the week and scheduled shift.
- Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
- Must present a well-groomed appearance.
- Work requires knowledge of tray service and cocktail ingredients.
- Work requires schedule flexibility which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
- Minimum of one-year customer service experience in a previous position, where the primary job duty is direct customer service.
- Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
- Must be able to work under time constraints and within established deadlines.
- Must regularly lift and/move up 30 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
- Work outdoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, varying conditions of temperature, heat, water, wind, extensive sun exposure, chemicals, including chlorine and other pool chemicals, noise, dust, and cigarette smoke.
- Work in a fast-paced and busy environment.
- The pay range for this position is $14.00/hour.
