What You’ll Do

The dispatcher plays a critical role in maintaining safety and security across all properties or facilities.
ROLE EXPECTATIONS
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited, To The Following
- Responsible for the safety and well being of the guest and team members.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, solution-oriented approach
- Respond to calls for service to gather all pertinent information related to the creation of a report.
- Follows company brand standards for guest service.
- Gathers pertinent information regarding security related incidents involving guests, and employees.
- Maintains accurate and detailed logs and records of security incidents.
- Utilizes CCTV to establish video footage of security incidents and saves footage as appropriate.
- Receives incoming security calls (Via two-way radio, telephone and in person) from employees and guests.
- Provides departmental information and acts as a liaison between the Security Department and other departments.
- Prioritizes and tracks security calls in the dispatch system.
- Monitors assignments and locations of all Security Staff on assigned Shift.
- Monitors Life Safety Systems and dispatches Officers to respond for calls of service.
- Notifies EMS, Local Law Enforcement as appropriate and or as directed by security Management. Notifies Security Managers or Shift managers of any potential conditions as needed.
- Becomes familiar with hazardous materials used on property and all applicable laws, rules and regulations governing the same.
- Maintains a working knowledge of the facility and Special Events on property, and other Rio venues to advise guest and fellow employees of same, whenever possible.
- Facilities the flow of information between departments and executives with guidance from Security Management.
- Maintains a series of keys assessing locked areas as necessary.
- Responsible for complying with the Company code of conduct and all Department rules and policies.

- Previous experience working in a similar resort setting
- Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
