Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures, including restorative work, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry.
- Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in accordance with practice protocols and legal requirements.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
- Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols during all procedures.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to provide seamless patient care.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuing education and professional development.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental software for patient management.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and experience with medical documentation.
- Experience in pediatrics is preferred, with the ability to provide care for children in a friendly manner.
- Familiarity with Epic or other electronic health record systems is a plus.
- Skills in oral surgery, medical imaging, pediatric dentistry, and dental fabrication are highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
