Emergency Department RN | Nursing Supervisor
Location: Mission Viejo, CA
Employment Type: Full-Time (Nights)
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base Salary: $141,200 - $223,100

Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a dedicated RN Charge Nurse / Nursing Supervisor to oversee the Emergency Department during 12-hour night shifts. This role involves supervising clinic activities and personnel, ensuring high-quality patient care, and regularly performing direct nursing duties. The ideal candidate will foster a patient-focused and inclusive culture built on mutual respect and understanding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Nurse Manager with clinic operations and supervision of staff.
- Oversee patient assessments, care planning, and coordination of patient care services.
- Resolve operational and patient care issues and provide leadership support.
- Act as a resource for staff in managing mental health and wellness patients.
- Promote community involvement and patient education efforts.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- California RN License upon hire (or willingness to obtain).
- BLS Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- 3 years of RN clinical experience in an acute care/hospital setting.
- 6 months of recent clinical experience working with mental health and wellness patients.
- Master’s Degree in Nursing.
- Liberty Protection Safeguards (LPS) Training or relevant coursework.
- 1 year of leadership experience, preferably in a behavioral health setting.
