Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $800-$1,000 per week for RNs; up to $800 for LPNs (based on qualifications)

- Adventure & Exploration: Located one hour from Seattle and less than an hour from Mt. Rainier National Park, with access to beaches, hiking trails, and local attractions
- Planned Staff Trips: Free trips to the Pacific Ocean, Mt. Rainier, and Seattle, plus a dirt track car race
- Provide medical care to campers and staff, including administering treatments and medications per physician’s orders
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation, including treatment logs and insurance forms
- Conduct pre-camp health screenings and review all medical records upon camper arrival
- Establish and oversee scheduled clinic hours for routine health checks and treatments
- Communicate with parents regarding camper health concerns and updates as needed
- Ensure proper hygiene, health, and safety conditions throughout the camp
- Educate and guide camp staff on recognizing and reporting illnesses, injuries, or unsafe conditions
- Prepare and distribute first-aid kits for hikes, outpost camps, and other off-site activities
- Maintain the nurse’s station, ensuring it is stocked and prepared for emergencies
- Participate in camp activities, including evening programs and campfires, as required
- Complete end-of-season health reports, including recommendations for future camp seasons
- Shifts: A mix of day, evening, and occasional night shifts, shared with an assistant (EMT) to ensure 24/7 coverage
- Most weeks: Monday–Friday, with 3-4 additional weekend days throughout the summer
- Active RN or LPN license in the state of Washington
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Ability to work independently and make sound medical decisions
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience in a camp, school, or pediatric healthcare setting preferred
- Previous experience in a summer camp or outdoor setting
- Passion for working with children and ensuring a positive camp experience
- Ability to educate and collaborate with camp staff on health and safety matters
- Strong interpersonal skills with a warm, approachable personality
