Position Overview
RION Equipment is looking for a Service Operations Manager who will assist with building out new service operations, to ensure consistency in overall culture and profitable business practices.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES :
- Initiates, processes and closes service repair quotes and work orders for all incoming repairs by obtaining accurate details from customers as to nature of problem. Secures management approval, if needed. Converts quote to work order or closes as appropriate.
- Proactively oversees WIP balance and assist locations with aged invoicing issue closure.
- Verifies warranty and service contract coverage for assigned locations. Informs customers of any needed services, recalls, preventative or annual inspections due on equipment.
- Coordinates inventory stock research and orders parts as needed. Complete parts inventory cycle counts and adjustments to ensure inventory accuracy. Obtains or issues internal purchase orders from customers when necessary.
- Communicates to internal and external customers in a timely manner to keep them abreast of work being done, projected timeframe for timely completion and follows up with customers after the repairs have been completed to ensure customer needs have been met.
