We have an immediate opening for a Project Accountant that is responsible for monitoring the progress of reports, approving expenses, and ensuring project billings are issued to customers as well as payment collection.
Duties include:
•Preparing and maintaining project reports & budgets
•Investigating project variances and submitting variance reports to management
• Preparing and maintaining account reconciliations
•Closing out project accounts upon completion
• Updating contracts according to client requirements and reporting associated budget amendments
• Issuing invoices and payment to clients, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, etc.
• Collaborating with project managers to project and maintain project profitability
•Maintaining accounts receivable collections
•Compiling information for internal & external audits

•Ability to skillfully work alongside and build strong relationships internally and externally
•Detailed knowledge of project contracts· Experience in project invoicing and billing
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or related
•5 years of experience as a Project Accountant preferably in the Architecture or Engineering field
•Familiarity with AIA contracts preferred
• Experience with Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint
