About the role
We are looking to add a Security Officer to our growing Security Department . As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing a safe environment for our Riot Employees. This on-site position will directly support our security operations at our Corsicana, TX facility.
Essential Functions
- Carry out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Report security violations and questionable activities, monitors facilities for damages from vandalism.
- Patrol the property by motorized vehicle and / or foot to prevent crimes, enforce rules and protect workforce and property.
- Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property.
- Secure all exits, doors and windows after end of operations.
- Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation.
- Provide assistance to people in need.
- Use verbal de-escalation techniques when necessary.
- Performs a variety of other duties assigned.
