About the role
The Mechanical Maintenance Superintendent for the Pump and Evaporation (Evap) team is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all mechanical equipment related to pumping systems and evaporation processes within the facility. This role ensures that all equipment operates efficiently and safely, meeting production goals and regulatory standards. The superintendent leads a team of pump team maintenance technicians and works closely with other departments to optimize equipment performance and reliability. This role is fully onsite in Corsicana, Texas .
Essential Functions
- Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the maintenance team
- Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the team
- Monitor the performance of pumps and evaporation systems to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary solutions
- Develop and implement reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) strategies to maximize equipment uptime and longevity
- Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Provide regular updates on maintenance status, equipment performance, and project progress to senior management
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution
Work Environment
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is primarily in an industrial setting but may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
