Senior Program Manager - Esports, Content Services

Pay CompetitiveEmployment type : Full-TimeJob Description Req# : 5102161As the Senior Project Manager, you will be a trusted advisor reporting to Riot's VP of Global Esports Content Services with several responsibilities focused on making information and decision processes more effective. You will be an air traffic controller, anticipating and averting problems for the Content Services leadership team. You'll help identify items that can be delegated to others to leverage the Content Services leadership's time to high-value activities.You will also serve as a communicator linking the VP of Global Esports Content Services, their leadership team, and the broader organization by developing and maintaining strong relationships with executives, senior leaders, and stakeholders across Riot. You will act as an integrator connecting work streams that would otherwise remain siloed while leading and delivering business-critical projects end-to-end, including discovery, delivery, and adoption.Responsibilities : Surfaces issues, roadblocks, and concerns from the department and obtain support for executive projects and priorities.Manage the global events planning and implementation timeline. Assisting all stakeholders in reaching individual and team milestones. Understand and integrate regional planning timelines into the global ecosystem.Manage global stakeholder communication channels and rituals between global and regional content services teams including, events, broadcast, content operations, and production.Oversee and assist content service leadership team with all recruiting prioritization and processing of open roles.Create a healthy team ecosystem by facilitating and iterating on team processes such as retros and planning.Ad hoc projects – Guide projects by providing analytical rigor, facilitating collaboration, and managing project scope and implementation.Attend meetings, provide direction, and address inquiries or issues that represent the department’s needs.Inter-departmental liaison – Serve as a liaison to teams across Riot and across the globe with a focus on analytics and process improvement, information, and knowledge sharing.Deck development – Create materials for board meetings, town halls, strategic off-sites, external conferences, etc.Anticipate and mitigate blockers to timelines and delivery while surfacing risks to our calendar to the leadership team.Required Qualifications : 6 years of experience working in project management, consulting, or other relevant fields.Experience working with executives and senior leaders and presenting to large groups across all levels of an organization.Experience leading large-scale, cross-organizational, complex enterprise programs with an ability to work with partners throughout the organization.Comfortable operating at a strategic level, but also willing to dive into the tactical.Desired Qualifications : Experience in strategic consulting.Prior experience supporting C-level / executive leadership.Experience in gaming, entertainment, or tech.Master's Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.For this role, you'll find success through craft expertise, a collaborative spirit, and decision-making that prioritizes the delight of players.
