As we enter our third season as Portland’s G League team, we’re looking for a driven and motivated sales professional to join us as a Part-Time B2B Ticket Sales Representative. In this role, you’ll focus on prospecting and selling season memberships, group ticket packages, premium seating, and in-arena advertising opportunities.
This is a 12-month developmental program that is designed to grow and develop your skill set as a sales professional. Our program offers a dynamic and immersive learning experience, equipping you with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in the competitive world of sales. Aside from developing your sales skills, you can participate in our Early Career Cohort and other networking opportunities.
We’re looking for someone who is eager to learn, passionate about sales, and excited to use their creative problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and find innovative solutions. DAY-TO-DAY:
B2B SALES & PROSPECTING
- Proactively contact local businesses to sell season memberships, group tickets, and premium seating options for Rip City Remix games.
- Conduct cold calls, emails, and in-person/virtual meetings to generate leads and secure new business.
- Sell Remix Ad Ops (Advertising Spots) to businesses seeking brand visibility within our arena and digital platforms.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients to drive repeat business.
- Track sales activity and pipeline using CRM tools to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting.
- Contribute to the development of new sales strategies and promotional ideas to grow B2B revenue.
- Represent Rip City Remix at community and networking events to build business relationships and generate leads.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor offerings to effectively position our ticketing and advertising packages.
- Participate in weekly sales meetings, team trainings, and professional development opportunities.
GAME-DAY SALES & CLIENT ENGAGEMENT
- Assist with game-day sales initiatives, including prospect meetings, client hosting, and closing in-person sales.
- Provide VIP hospitality support for business clients, ensuring a premium game-day experience.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service and fulfillment of ticketing and advertising packages.
- Assist with renewal campaigns and upselling efforts for current clients to maximize customer lifetime value.

- Are fully available to work all 24 Rip City Remix home games, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
