Conversions Event Supervisor- Full Time (Overnight)

As our Conversions Event Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning, supervising and coordinating all activities and operations of the Conversions department including ice makes. You and your team will support the setup and take down of internal and external events held at the Rose Quarter.

DAY-TO-DAY: 

• Oversees conversion timelines, goals, quality-assurance and safety training of crews
• Assisting with recruitment, scheduling, payroll, and supervision of all personnel disciplinary actions.
• Confirms event information from Event Management and Production teams and directs department accordingly.
• Helping maintain proper storage of Conversion tools and supplies as needed.
• Works closely with Facility operations department to maintain equipment and ensure its in excellent working condition.
• Working with department managers to procure any necessary equipment for the Conversions department
• Locating and correcting any problems that could place the building in violation of fire and/or safety codes
• Assist in developing training plans and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Supporting in the development of departmental policies and procedures and implementation to ensure that the highest possible standard of operations is met and sustained
• Coordinating with other departments and contractors as needed on event and non-event days.
• Proactively seeks out improvement projects and processes to streamline conversions.
• Work closely with the Conversion overnight shift to ensure seamless interactions between crews.
• Operate forklift and scissor lift as needed.
• Overseeing and participating in ice installations to ensure accuracy, including the supervision and training of the ice making crews; and maintenance of ice making supplies and equipment.

• Organized in multitasking of dealing with multiple size and type of events.
• Experience in Microsoft office software.
• Strong organization skills
• Calm and professional demeanor in an often-stressful environment
• Ability to understand and overcome adversities that may arise during and outside of events
